Originally made for the group exhibition And I Will Tell You Mine for Kohler Art Center, Sheboygan, WI
The show explored the idea of connection to place and how atmospheres can influence outcome. I made this in honor of my great grandmother’s garden and the fond memories I have of spending time with her there. She inspired my love of gardening at a young age and I love that through the act of caring for my garden I feel that connection to her.
